Fashion (PMF)

PMF is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that specializes in using a fashion-based approach, creativity and innovation to educate about the unique sexual and reproductive health needs of queer and Black communities. We educate, collaborate and partner with other organizations, businesses, schools and individuals to create a network of like-minded people focused on addressing these needs in the community while fostering and modeling community care.

MISSION

Our mission is to increase sexual health knowledge in people of color, Black, LGBTQIA, and nonbinary communities through fashion, advocacy, community and education (F.A.C.E). We aim to do this through our seven programs and various services:

  • Affirming Fashion Program

  • Internship Program

  • Sex Education Program

  • Social Justice and Fashion Program

  • Speakers Bureau Program

  • STEAM Fashion Program

  • Volunteer Program

  • Support Groups

VISION

We envision an affirming environment where Black and LGBTQ+ people have equitable access to sexual and reproductive health education and resources and where these communities are empowered to bring their authentic selves, and become leaders and change-makers.
